Job Title: Site Initiative Manager

We are looking for a Site Initiative Manager to control the development and execution of new product initiatives entering the site.
Working within the Technical Product Services team, the Site Initiative Manager will closely co-ordinate with the Planning, Global Initiative, Production, Research & Development and Technical Product Services team to deliver site executed new product developments to the business by ensuring delivery of the functions as detailed below;
Develop and own end to end the Supply Chain readiness Critical Path Schedule for their supply chain with input from the Initiative Planner for all detailed Planning and master data elements (master data, supply and capacity planning, demand planning)
Coordinate actions to fulfill Estimate Standard Cost and Final Standard Cost and feasibility assessment completeness.
Ensure each site functional representative has done proper work to keep Critical Path Schedule, cost and Quality on track.
Coordinate and lead regular (weekly) project update and any kick-off meetings (and manage other key touch points at the site) ensuring attendance from relevant personnel including - as needed – Research & Development (Packaging and Formulation), Engineering, Production Planning, Initiative Planner, Procurement and Finance with the objective of reviewing current Critical Path Schedule and achieving milestone adherence.
Raising and approval of risk forms when required to secure Supply Chain readiness.
Organise any rework operations necessary in order secure agreed execution volumes in factory.
Management of Experimental Orders and line trials securing the Production downtime needed, material availability and ensure all necessary systems set ups are completed accordingly by respective owners in the factory (local systems) or in the Planning hub (SAP).
Owning activating the alert process in case of any issue which cannot be seamlessly contained and resolved within the factory and Planning hub perimeter, effectively framing and communicating issues or risks to drive decisions with Initiative and Planning Leadership and their related teams.
Creating, and leading to resolution, action plans for any supply chain issues identified during project lifetime in collaboration with Initiative Planner as needed.
Collaborate with site Planning and Initiative Planner to manage Phase In Phase Out, with code classification owned by Life Cycle Management, and impact of demand variability and potential shortages, defining options and related contingency plans. Owns factory corresponding technical actions to enable resolution plans and synchronization with overall project plan.
Maintain local factory tracking documents and Innovation Management local scorecard for all New Product Developments to reflect status of each.
Coordinate factory tasks for execution of in house secondary packaging operations such as Work In Progress product supplied internally or externally.
Engage and remain informed with Global Initiative Leader as of Initiate gate and gradually take project leadership over between Commit and Execute gate until In Country Warehouse date, involving others in Innovation Management when required.
Working with Global Initiative Management to confirm that project is ready for hand over to site and if not to push back until front end work is fit for purpose by the Factory.
Provide guidance / connection with Initiative Planner with respect to demand planning for new initiatives prior to handover.
THE COTY IDEAL FIT
Extensive experience and knowledge in the development and supply chain for cosmetics products.
Knowledge in the principle functions of Planning, and deep knowledge of the New Product Development process to include systems and project management.
Strong project management skills to include initiating change, time management, co-ordination and communication.
Knowledge in financials and general vision on the Information Technology systems supporting the Site Initiative Management work.
Procurement and Commercial awareness of supplier management and implications / management of changes.
Results orientated and skilled in managing prioritisation.
Collaborative approach to problem solving.
Working knowledge of business project management tools to include Microsoft Project, spreadsheets, Manufacturing Resource Planning and SAP.
Educated to Degree level in related subject
