Position Title: .Net Developer
Location: Fort Rucker, AL
Clearance Requirements: Secret Clearance
Position Status: Contract to Hire
The Engineer will be responsible for maintaining ASP.NET enterprise applications that are used both internally and externally.
The Engineer will be involved in the project lifecycle, translating business requirements into custom business solution including planning, building, testing and implementation.
Additionally, this role includes troubleshooting, reporting findings to management, and recommending solutions.
Required (Minimum) Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
5+ years of programming experience with .NET (3.5+) technologies (ASP.NET / C#)
3+ years of Microsoft SQL server experience and knowledge of Transaction-SQL, Stored Procedures and SQL Queries
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.
Self-starter and eager to learn
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to design and implement end-to-end enterprise reporting and transactional database systems, including data structures, stored procedures, and error handling.
Troubleshooting application and database related bugs.
Previous experience and full understanding of full life cycle development.
Experience working with Visual Studio
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software as required
Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
Deadline focused, detail oriented, well organized and self-motivated
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and manage time efficiently
B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or other technical degree or equivalent work experience required.
Security+ Certification is required. (Must be able to obtain certification within first 90 days)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) is required. (Must be able to obtain certification within first 90 days)
