Job Summary
The Helpdesk Technician position in Information Technology is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining PC equipment; providing support for a wide variety of software applications and completing requests for new service in a dynamic, high-paced environment; and relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform various other job duties.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some combination of training and experience in PC technical support, OR one year of experience as a PC technician
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures for PC repair
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to perform work with a positive attitude and in a timely manner
- Ability to work well in a team environment
